Tastebud heaven

My local butcher shop has started stocking Pascal's Pastries (a new local business) and they are utterly divine! Last month I tried the cinnamon rolls ... light and flaky and buttery, with a just-right touch of cinnamon and utterly scrummy. Today I indulged in pain au chocolat ... all of the previous adjectives, minus the cinnamon and plus chunks of bittersweet dark chocolate. And the added treat of the pleasant smell of baking that lingers long after they're out of the oven.

Shall definitely have to try their croissants one of these days ...
