The re-reading ...

... "project" continues. Finished Cherryh's Faded Sun trilogy (it's been AGES ... while I'd not forgotten the story, I was freshly re-amazed by how these three slim volumes are overflowing with as much cultural/psychological richness as the later and lengthier "Chanur" and "Foreigner" books), and then followed that with her Merchanter's Luck. After that, an author switch; have just finished Mike Mignola's Baltimore, or, The steadfast tin soldier and the vampire as I have the graphic sequel on the way plus a prepub order in place for the second graphic sequel. And now I've pulled my copy of Charles Stross' The Atrocity Archives out of the bookcase to start refreshing my memory on the intricacies of Bob Howard's life in preparation for the new "Laundry" book that's coming out in July.

Needless to say, the knitting has been languishing neglected for some time as I exercise other parts of my brain ... ;p But I'll get back to it eventually.
