Because I want to read it!

Finished re-reading C.J. Cherryh's Morgaine/Vanye books this week ... and am once again being driven crazy wanting to know what happens after the cliffhanger ending of "Exile's Gate" (shoulda remembered self-protection was the reason I'd not pulled that set out of the bookcase for a while)

Cherryh has said on her website she'll write the fifth volume (the plot was planned long ago) if she ever has enough money coming in from her other contracted-by-publishers works to pay all her bills while she does it ... this book would then be available directly from her in e-format (one can dream of print being available later, since she is in association with Selina Rosen who IS Yard Dog Press.

Gotta make a shopping list ... I have "Heavy Time" but not its sequel "Hellburner", need the fifth Chanur book, don't have any of the Finisterre series, and will certainly go for the rewrites of the "Rusalka" sequels (hopefully the multiple eformats being set up will include one that works without me having to purchase extraneous gadgetry) ... I should be able to buy her an hour of writing time (possibly even an hour and a half) ***sigh***

Any of you know any rich people who you can talk into buying, say, at least fifty copies apiece of every title a certain author has ever written?
