Yarn therapy ... because I earned it today ;-)

The evil folks at Indigodragonfly posted newly dyed yarns tonight ... perfect timing and they had a new batch of the colourway I've been much tempted to buy (half for the name, half for the colour itself). "Bright Lights, Big City, Busy Highway, Slow Unicorn" will soon be in my stash (scroll down a bit to see ... I'm getting the merino/cashmere on left side of the photo). And since it doesn't make sense to pay base shipping rate for just one skein, I added two more colours in their Merino Sock yarn that I've been coveting for a while: "Goth to a Flame" and "Vicious Penguin" (scroll way down ... they're older stock, third and fourth from the bottom of the screen).

Incentive to get cracking on other projects and clear some needles for yet more socks. And gloves ... I want to master gloveknitting this winter. So much to make ...

P.S. For those who have any interest in the interactions between colour/fabric/fibre, some of the photos at the first link are an excellent visual demonstration of how different fibres or fibre blends take dyes ... the skeins go into the same dyepots for the same length of time, but intensity and variation of colour are determined by what each skein is made from.
