Thief Watch

This beautiful one-of-a-kind bag (click on photos for larger view), made as a sample for this pattern page, was stolen from a dealer booth at the NYS Sheep & Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, N.Y. (commonly just referred to as "Rhinebeck"). I know most of you are nowhere near that location (nor even liable to go anywhere near a fibre event), but since Rhinebeck is a massive affair that brings in international visitors, the thief could have been from anywhere (and may have even been counting on distance as a way of not getting nailed). So I figure I'll do my bit to pass the word ... this bag is large and eyecatching enough that you'd certainly notice it if you passed it on the street, plus several of you hang out at eBay, Etsy, and other such selling zones and it could show up in one those.

The talented person who spent a enormous amount of time and a hefty chunk of cash on handcrafting this masterpiece deserves to get it back ... hopefully enough online exposure will bring that about.
