Recent DDOS attacks on LJ

For those of you who've noticed slowdowns/downtime recently, but haven't been over to read the various LJ news sources to see what's been going on, a map/IP list of identified zombie computers used in the attacks has has been posted by the LJ staff. Along with using this to check that your computer isn't listed and doing a clean-up/getting your security updated if it is, it's kind of interesting to see the patterns of zombie location and clean zones.

Remember, if you're in a high electronic zombie zone, it's liable to also be a high-risk-for-first-outbreak of the human kind as well ... be prepared! ;-)
