... reading Stephen Fry's second volume of autobiography, The Fry Chronicles, yesterday morning. A lovely, relaxing read, despite some of the darker revelations about Fry's youth (the book covers roughly a decade, from his acceptance into Cambridge to his thirtieth birthday) ... it rambles and sidetracks a bit, but that's just how the man talks in real life; the whole thing is rather like having the great man himself in your living room, nattering away wherever his stream of thought takes him (honestly, is there anything more pleasurable to read than a book that "sounds" like an intelligent, live human talking?)

Makes me want to re-read "Moab is My Washpot" (volume 1) and has me eager to see the next instalment published.
