A big squishy envelope from Tanis Fiber Arts was in my mailbox tonight, containing two skeins of richly-coloured yarn suitable for making heavier, it's-damned-freezing! socks. Just as lovely to touch as it is to look at. :-) And yarn/fabric photography tip I recently picked up online worked well ... if purples are photographing too blue (which had been happening to me), put something that's a bright clear blue in the frame and it'll prevent the digital camera from "correcting."
