The joys of a long vacation ...

My co-workers have had their noses back to the grindstone for an hour and a quarter now ... I'm lazily checking out morning updates, still in my nightshirt, 'cause I'm taking this week off too! Major accomplishments so far on this staycation: I've finished making a 1000-piece jellybean jigsaw, re-read most of Tom Holt's J.W. Wells novels, made progress on afghan (nearly to end of third ball of yarn), started and am halfway through second pair of fingerless mittens commissioned way back by a friend who hasn't mastered knitting in the round yet, and have been on a marathon re-watch of 'Allo 'Allo! (halfway through season five as of last night ... how can one possibly resist spending this many hours with the sexiest man in all of France?). This in between various out-and-aboutnesses and helping friend finish packing and moving (all done now!)

Still on the to-do list ... read The Pirates of the Levant, finish mittens and then cast on commissioned socks (now that I'm pretty sure I've figured out fitting challenges), get up to haven't-been-there-for-ages comics shop 'cause new volumes are out in series I follow. And, of course, continue to generally goof off for another week. :-)
