High humidity + rapid temperature drop at sunset = the air is full of ice fog (trees have already collected a delicate first layer of crystals) and, walking home from the bus stop, the snow on the ground was glittering so hard, even in the most shadowy spots, that looking down was like looking into a zillion tiny strobe lights.

Pretty as it all is, it's much nicer inside in the warm. ;-)
