Another sampling of Canada's most "Canadian" music

Stompin' Tom Connors this time. The nickname is well earned ... his personal rhythm-keeping tends to be a bit hard on floors so most venues would put down a sheet of plywood in his stage position. A performance wasn't over until the plywood had been raised, then tilted to spill the sawdust/wood splinters and show the damage. ;-)

The above are older clips from a seventies concert film ... here's a more recent performance of his most famous trademark song (note that the stage still needs to be protected from the stompin' ***grin***)
