Knitting progress

Doesn't look like much of an afghan, all scrunched on the needle like this, but my five-foot tape measure, laid out along the outside edge, barely reaches from corner to corner; I was figuring on about four feet wide but I have no problem with five since that's about the length hoped for ... it'll be a decent snuggling-under size and that's the important thing. Because the yarn has a fuzzy halo, there's no way the stitch pattern is ever going to photograph well but I can assure you it looks great in RL. For a clearer visual, you can see a smooth-yarn sample of Syncopated Brioche Stitch here. It's a 100% reversible pattern, so the afghan looks like this on both sides. Colours are a bit darker/richer than in the photos ... they perfectly match a stunning sunrise we had here a couple of weeks ago.

Still overcast and snowing this morning (a good sign ... means temps aren't dropping), so much incentive to drink hot drinks, watch good movies, and continue working on this.
