For my fellow "Max Headroom" geeks ...

'cause I know you appreciate the fact that the show finally made it to DVD and because we all have other old faves that we're still hoping will become available, thought I'd remind you that there is a way to help bring your favourites to DVD. There's a site called TV Shows on DVD that you should consider registering with (it's free). Here members can vote for series they'd like to see released on DVD ... the site is partly funded by selling the resulting statistics to subscribing DVD companies (which use them to plan future releases). The only emails you get from the site are news releases related to shows you've voted for ... I've never received any other junk mail or promos. One of those news release emails is how I was able to let you know months ago about "Max Headroom" finally coming back to us.

I've no affiliation with the site other than a several-years-long membership ... just think it's worth mentioning because this is one of the all-too-rare ways that we actually CAN influence what entertainment is made available to us.
