Aside from the computer, have been ignoring the official to-read pile and rereading (and enjoying just as much as the first time) Harry Harrison's Stainless Steel Rat series instead, just because it's been centuries since I'd read them and that's far too long. Am now halfway through the final volume in my possession ("The Stainless Steel Rat Gets Drafted"), and really must look into getting hold of the final three books ('tis a terrible thing to have a gap in one's library). Reading and computer work punctuated by bouts of knitting/movie watching of course ... the best entertainment when the sky has spent the whole weekend switching from sunny blue to threatening black every five minutes and the smell of rain is in the air. Not to mention that it's the final weekend of Stampede and the safest place away from the whole thing and its attendant escalation of loud tourists, drivers who have no idea where they're going, and drunks is home. (strolled over to the grocery store this morning between rainclouds ... none of 'em have actually rained yet, they've just been looming and then moving on ... to restock apples and other necessities, so haven't gone entirely without exercise/fresh air)
It's just this moment gone all dark and gloomy outside again and the at the same time the breeze has come to a standstill ... most odd. Ah well, back to the Rat ... :-)
