Blue Money: Tim Curry as a Irish taxi driver in London, struggling to break into show business ... until the day he drives off with a suitcase full of mob protection money while his fare is "collecting" from a client. Billy Connolly appears as a violent Scottish nutcase hitchhiker who won't go away.
Z.P.G.: An odd little dystopia film that still stays in my head, even though I only saw it once, late at night (okay, early in the morning) when I was about 16-17. Then again, mebbe it sticks because it starred Oliver Reed ***grin***. Either way, I'd like to see it again.
More dystopia, of the quirkier kind: Max Headroom. I want the whole series!!!!! With full commentary on every episode by Matt Frewer!!!!!
On a happier note, I HAVE discovered that Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit IS available on DVD ($45.00 at Chapters.ca and $18.00 at A&B ... gee, wonder who I should order it from?) ... ghosties with attitude!!!!!!
