Bigfoot is among us ...

... and he's working for the F.B.I.

I've spent this evening reading the first three volumes of Proof, written by Alexander Grecian and drawn by local artist Riley Rossmo. Oh, what yummy stuff! I-want-volume-four-immediately-type yummy. All about an F.B.I.-affiliated team that specializes in tracking down and capturing endangered legendary creatures/beings and keeping them safe and cared for in a natural environment. And all this while spouting some wonderfully oddball (and often gigglesome) dialogue ...

Hunting for a missing golem in the sewers of New York: "What direction would you go if you were a giant tattooed man wearing skintight leather pants?" "West."

And of course John Prufrock, "Bigfoot" to tabloid readers and Proof to his friends and co-workers, is a delight ... well-read, dandified, and more civilized than most of the short hairless bipeds that surround him.
