Guess too much coffee still wasn't enough today ... 'twas the print collection of year one of Ménage à 3! Lovely little thing it is, too ... just slightly larger than a standard paperback, with the strips one-to-a-page in 2x2 format. Plus a bonus story and guest strips at the end of the book. The to-read pile gets another inch taller! ;p
Have been whittling the stack down a leetle bit lately ... my life hasn't been a total sock-knitting obsession ... it just seems like it ***grin***. But that was thanks to a pulled knee ligament last month ... heck, what else can a girl do when she has limited television tolerance and is even starting to get tired of reading (don't worry, knee all better now, no permanent damage, there were never any hot spots or swelling, and it got to spend most of four days on the couch with supporting pillows under it before I tried taking it back to work ... how it happened in the first place remains a mystery).
On the plus side, that meant I had time to read (and be very glad I had):
Plus had Volume 3 and Volume 4 of the Walker treasuries to flip through and re-read the Niven/Pournelle classics The Mote in God's Eye and The gripping hand (okay, only 3/4 of the way through the second volume, but almost there!)
And over this past weekend celebrated a full week with nary a knee-twinge by unloading four large bookcases and the entertainment centre and rearranging half the living room ... feels "bigger" now, plus a little more daylight is reaching all the way back to the computer desk (and now keyboarding I can catch any local jackrabbit activity out of the corner of my eye, thanks to the big armchair and the CD spinner no longer being midway between the desk and the window)
