Started reading ...

... the novel Baltimore, by Mike "Hellboy" Mignola and Chris Golden today. And I don't think I can go to bed tonight until I finish it ... it's THAT good!

Also cast on a new pair of socks in a yarn that's multitones of chocolate ... just looking at it makes me crave some Ghirardelli. Fancy patterning right from the start instead of the traditional ribbing that usually tops socks, but the 7 rows I've done so far isn't enough to make a worthwhile photo. These are going to take longer to finish than the previous pair as this time it's all following complex stitch charts instead of mindless round-and-round stockinette. The pattern is called Bex
