Murphy's law of absence ...

It never fails ... take time off and THAT's when all my special orders come in at work. So my return to my desk today was brightened by learning I had acquired:

Let the right one in, by John Ajvide Lindqvist. (YES, finally get to read this!)
The secret of Annexe 3, by Colin Dexter (part of the campaign to complete my Inspector Morse mystery collection)
The knitter's book of finishing techniques, by Nancie M. Wiseman (if I learn proper seaming and grafting techniques, I might be more inclined to get projects completed)
A second treasury of knitting patterns, by Barbara G. Walker (two more volumes of this bible to go and then I'll have virtually every stitch pattern ever invented at my fingertips!)
Evil Inc. annual report vol. 3, by Brad Guigar.

Don't think I'll be bored for a long while ... ;p
