A truly amazing version of John Barleycorn just played on the Celtic Show ... how wonderful to be able to be poised and ready at the keyboard to Google the artist as soon as the DJ names 'em. :-) (performers were The Imagined Village, BTW, in case anyone was curious, and I'm now playing hunt-the-album ...)

Edited to add: Well, bonus! My buddies can listen to and watch a live performance of this very version of this very tune (with added lyrics about Billy Bragg's heritage ... LOL!) should they so desire. :D

P.S. I have a special love for this song ... I learned it from a folk guitarist I dated in college and have never forgotten so much as a fraction of a syllable of the lyrics.
