Miss Kitt

An adored voice should be shared, no?

Here's Eartha Kitt's first hit in the U.S.: Uska Dara (for those who don't know her history, she was a big star in France before she was in her native country, and her repertoire included songs in French, Portuguese, Turkish, and other languages. The Turkish lyrics here are a traditional folk song, the English story she's telling with 'em ... not so traditional ***GRIN***)

And one in English: The Heel (I figure everybody's heard "I Wanna Be Evil" and "Santa Baby" ... this one's a little different).

Enjoy the purring!
