The Milligan!

Oooo ... on the same site as the Servalan stuff (see previous entry), I found a small tribute to Spike Milligan and his bizarre TV sketch program "Q". Spike was hailed as a comedy "god" and is cited as an influence and inspiration by comic performers ranging from the Pythons to Eddie Izzard; his admirers and acolytes often invited him to pop up in odd places in their projects (in The Life of Brian, he's the baffled old man who's left standing alone in the street as all the Brian cults rush off in different directions and in Gormenghast he's the elderly headmaster who meets a squishy fate when his wheelchair runs away with him).
