Getting deeply into ...

... season one of Little Mosque on the Prairie, which, with my non-television habits, I missed a lot of in regular broadcast format. Wonderful, beautiful, hilariously funny, without turning anybody into a two-dimensional stereotype ... utterly utterly brilliant.

And, of course, with good comedy, the simplest lines are the laugh-yourself-silly ones, especially in unexpected context ... fave so far:

"Be a man. Grovel" (male Anglican minister giving flock-managing advice to the Imam)

The whole thing just makes me proud to be a Canuck, and a prairie-dwelling one too (okay, technically I live in the foothills now, but I did live on the prairie for nearly twenty years ***GRIN***)
