Possibly of interest to the "Alatriste" fans

No, it's not that the English edition of volume four or the Region 1 DVD is/are finally coming out. Sorry. But wanted you to know that a brand-shiny-new-translated-into-English Arturo Pérez-Reverte novel was published this week: The Painter of Battles. It was just unpacked for our weekly Hotlist shipments late yesterday afternoon, so should be in the showroom and purchaseable by yours-truly tomorrow. :-)

P.S. This book has the same translator as for the Alatriste novels ... so now that this one's out of the way, mebbe she's working on Alatriste 4 right now!
