SUNDAY UPDATE: Yep, I went back. And happily so ... there were three more quilt display pavilions set up (they weren't there yesterday), so more gorgeous colour/pattern combinations to admire. Acquired four metres of batiked flannelette ... background shading from rose to plum, with a leaf and vine pattern that shades from gold to turquoise. :-)))) Designs like this are easily available in ordinary cotton, but the show-only people are the ONLY Alberta distributors of the flannelettes (and there's no guarantee that I'll be able to go to the August fabric "garage sale" in Canmore ... that's the next show at which their wares will be available).
Oh, to be wealthy enough to buy EVERY fabric that intrigues me (and to hire a team to sew up the stuff I don't have time to do myself ***sigh***)
