:p

Woke up this morning with a fever and a disturbing sensation, around diaphragm-level, that I had somehow managed to swallow a large brick which had stuck there (and which boded ill for wearing anything with a waistband and then bending or sitting ... both unavoidable in my job). Dutifully called in my non-presence to work and went back to bed, where I alternated hour-long naps and getting up to drink water, until around 11:30 a.m., when waking finally discovered the non-presence of both fever and brick. Dunno what it was, but I'm glad it's gone. Afternoon spent guzzling large amounts of orange juice and watching Jeeves and Wooster ... rather above my current mental abilities, but having read all the books previously, I'm managing to muddle through the plots. Says something for this hardly-ever-gets-sick-girl that I have a parcel (which includes the eagerly awaited Sophie Solomon CD) at the post office for pick-up and library holds at my local branch and I lack motivation to go out and collect either.

Could be worse ... at least it's not food poisoning ***sends tons of get-well thoughts in the direction of timcharmorbien and wishes there was a way to reliably send tequila via brainwaves***
