Are you local?

Happy dancing because I just discovered that BBC7 began broadcasting the radio version of "The League of Gentlemen" today! How best to describe it? Well, if Lexx is "Monty Python" meets "Alien", the League is "Monty Python On Hard Drugs" meets "Puppets Who Kill". Sketch comedy loaded with bizarre and twisted characters that you can laugh at because you're secure in the knowledge that they don't live in your neighbourhood. Definitely worth a listen (by going to BBC7, clicking on the "listen live" link, then scrolling to "On the town with the League of Gentlemen")

P.S. The League later went to television for three seasons (all of which are on DVD), but stage and radio are where it all began ...
