Just finished ...

... reading the P.D. James novel, The Children of Men. Just as powerful as the movie, but in different ways. Definitely a recommended read, before or after seeing the screen version. The differences in the two stories are interesting, and the one MAJOR plot change ... well, I think the book's version created far more tension on that one (sealwhiskers and hadesgirl will know what I mean).

Hmmmm ... just how DOES one rave about a book without spoilerizing the based-on movie that most people haven't seen yet? :p
