A VERY good ...

... night out last night ... dinner at East Side Mario's (excellent caesar salad, Lotsa Cheese Cappeletti, which is pasta stuffed with cheese and cooked in a four-cheese sauce, and ice-cream cake), the company of good friends (including happy tormenting of our hostess for choosing a restaurant in the city's largest mall during Christmas shopping season), and then, since we were there and had obviously all managed to score parking stalls, wandering 'round said mall afterwards. Then a late-night grocery stop to ensure the presence of breakfast supplies and home, to relaxingly fiddle around with computers and books and DVDs in the happy knowledge that I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO IN TO WORK TODAY!!! (we've been on a frantic push to clear our largest client's budget by their year-end ... important when we are closed during the last week of December and they aren't ... but yesterdays calculations show us to be on track and not needing those extra hours of labour to accomplish it ... HURRAH!!!)

Today: ratty comfy clothes, hot choccie, good music/BBC7, and a push to get a large chunk of data into my BookCAT and CATVids software 'cause I MISS not having complete databases of my stuff at my fingertips (I can't update my Collections webpage until I accomplish this, since they'd end up with shorter lists on 'em instead of longer ones). Once I've got books and movies back where they should be, then I can tackle the sound collection (have pretty much decided to invest in CATraxx instead of once again trying to shoehorn CD info into a format set up for books, but won't buy until the other two databases are caught up again)

Plus I've brought home notes for a new catdesk entry ...
