Over at BBC7, a six-part series called "The Comediennes" is being broadcast ... interviews with some of Britain's great female comedy names in film, radio, and television). I unfortunately missed the first show, but am on my second listen to tonight's, which features Hattie Jacques ... worth hearing whether you've heard of her or not.

It's at good ol' BBC7 Listen Again; for tonight (Monday Sept. 25), click on the "Listen Live" link and scroll down to "The Comediennes", Tuesday to Saturday you can do that OR click on "Mon" and scroll down to the 18:00 timeslot to hear the show.
