Have had my copy ...

... of Tom Holt's You don't have to be evil to work here but it helps as my bedtime read-myself-to-sleep book for the last few nights (normally I'm rereading older stuff, but I tend to read Mr. Holt far too fast the first time 'round 'cause I wanna see what happens next, so he always gets an early repeat). Result being, as usual, that the GOOD lines are now jumping out at me and entertaining me even more than the first time ...

Best gem so far is company boss describing the experience of being audited ... "If death's half as scary, I'll have to think seriously about living forever."
