Finished ...

... watching the first season of Black Books tonight, and I loudly and enthusiastically second anotheranon's recommendation. If you have a chance to see it, whether renting/buying the DVD or catching it on TV, DO SO!!!!! This is primo, intelligent, snarky British comedy at its finest! Bookseller Bernard Black combines all the customer service/personnel management qualities of Fawlty Towers' Basil Fawlty and the housekeeping standards of the bachelor roommates in Men Behaving Badly. And yet you can't help liking him. While being extremely thankful he's not a relative, spouse or other RL person close to you.

And it takes place in a book store (new & used) ... can you IMAGINE a more divine setting?
