Today, since temps were on the nasty, frigid side (we dropped from +16C to -28C in less than a week), I got the bright idea of wearing it to work under my sweatshirt, just to see if it had any insulating powers. It certainly does. Bonuses: This is a garment so thin and light that you could crumple it and hide it in your fist. Fits like a second skin, so there's no physical sensation of layering or of the outer garment feeling too snug because of extra stuff underneath. Extra points for being and staying skinsnug down to hip level and never making the slightest attempt to migrate and bunch around my waist (anybody with even a hint of curves will know what I mean ... snug stuff tends to try to roll its way toward the smallest diameter). And the price is painless, even without a sale. I think I need a couple more, in different colours ...
