Home today ...

... with my sinuses filled and my head feeling as if all the dust bunnies from work are crammed into it (the work dust bunnies are larger than average, a dark charcoal colour, and slightly greasy to the touch). I don't actually feel unwell, and the full sinuses are off the main airway, so I can breath with my mouth closed, but I started having trouble concentrating/focusing yesterday afternoon and this morning the brain isn't doing any better, so figured 'twas better to stay home and drink gallons of water and orange juice, while breathing moisture-laden air from the humidifier and consigning many innocent tissues to a sticky end. FAR better than going in to work and then spending tomorrow and Friday fixing what I did today! :p

More snow last night, so all the grass is invisible now. Lots of jackrabbit tracks in the courtyard ... I haven't seen the "quietest neighbour" for a couple of weeks, so it's nice to know he/she hasn't been flattened by a car or something. Come to think of it, I've never seen jackrabbit roadkill; presumably that means they're too fast and agile for cars to catch ... I know the citydwelling ones have developed a knack for timing their street-crossing dashes for when the cars are stopped at red lights.

Enough rambling for the moment ... I think I need some hot tea with honey ...
