It's winter ... again

The ground is white this morning, after a week of summerlike temperatures. Snow layer is a little thicker than last time ... there's less grass poking through it. Whether it stays or not is up to the wind and the air temps it brings over the Rockies from the Pacific ... right now my outdoor thermometer is reading zero degrees Celsius (+32 for those of you speaking Fahrenheit), so it could go either way. This time I don't mind if the snow stays; it wasn't preceded by a day of rain, so there won't be a treacherous ice layer beneath like last time.

A good morning for a hot choccie and apple spice sausage breakfast, methinks! :-)
