An old Betty Boop cartoon (streaming and download options on the left of your screen), which I'm especially happy to find because it has footage of the great and glorious Cab Calloway at the beginning. I adore Cab and have three CDs of his music; sadly, I've never found my two favourite Cab recordings ("St. James Infirmary" and "Nagasaki") on CD, nor do I own them in any other form ... I heard them on an LP borrowed from a library many years ago. Happily, the online archive that houses this cartoon also possesses one that features Cab singing "St. James Infirmary" as part of the soundtrack (it's another Betty Boop: Snow White), so I got a surprise fix today. :-)

Gonna have to spend more time in this site ... could be that "Nagasaki" made it onto a soundtrack as well.
