Finally bound this off about a week ago with two grams of yarn to spare. And now it's washed, blocked, and ready to wear to the Spring Fibre Shindig next weekend; first booth I'm heading for is the Fibre Goddess who spun this yarn so she can see the final result of her labour (she recognized and pounced on me at the last Fall Shindig, asking if the shawl was finished yet; all spinners and dyers love to see what's been made from their yarns) Pattern is Atalanta Sideways by Åsa Tricosa, yarn is an unnamed one-of-a-kind handspun (50% Merino Wool/50% Silk) by Fibre Goddess. 170 centimetres from tip to tip. Ravelry project page with my notes and in-progress photos. This entry was originally posted at https://jlsjlsjls.dreamwidth.org/1383342.html.
