Last night's yarn shop loot

See? Very restrained. On the left, a skein of Kauni 8/1 Lace 100% wool) in exciting-colourway-name "XEG"! This one's a smidge under one and a half kilometres of yarn (1470 metres), so won't take an entire season of Jeeves & Wooster to wind into a ball (my previous skein of this yarn was just shy of two kilometres and took three hours to wind ... and there wasn't a knot or break in that entire length!). On the right, from top to bottom: Manos del Uruguay Fino (70% merino wool/30% silk) in "Garnet Brooch", and two skeins of Malabrigo Rios (100% merino wool) in "Pearl Ten" and "Volcan" colourways (the latter is the one I needed to finish my hat deepening "surgery")
