The Librarian

A little extra mischief ...

Was just looking up the author of a short story in my home library catalogue and had my eye caught by something on the home screen. Each of the three softwares I use for this posts a "Pick of the Day" ... a title randomly chosen from whichever database it hosts: book, video, or music. And the brain thing, being well-rested and chock full o' evil, just had the bright idea that I should share those every once in a while just because it IS random. Yeah, my friends whose to-read/watch/listen lists overfloweth shall probably scream and start looking up assassins for hire or how to make a working voodoo doll so they can do something about me but that just makes me want to do it even more. ;p

Today's computer-generated picks are:
Reading: Stalking the Vampire, by Mike Resnick (second volume in his John Justin Mallory series)
Listening: The 2000 Year Old Man in the Year 2000, by Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks.
Viewing: Remington Steele (well, the pick is specifically the 16th episode from season 4 because the CATVids software rummages through the individual episodes and extras listed for each disc/tape rather than the main title, which kinda skews the whole thing in this particular software)
