The Librarian

Not a "Canadian classic" but there's a Canadian in it ...

Been centuries since I've watched this, one of the greatest (and most hilarious) bank heist movies ever made (it may look like a war movie to the unfamiliar eye, but that's just the setting ... trust me, the plot is all about the money. And little tongue-in-cheek tributes to other movie genres). Donald "Great Canadian Actor" Sutherland stole every scene he was in, often with just an eye roll (the many "negative waves" bits between him and Gavin Macleod are priceless). Planning to dust off my DVD copy and watch the whole thing tonight. :-)

Just for fun ...

'cause I've (obviously) been on an X-Men kick lately ...
'cause it's sorta Eastery (well, there's CANDY in it) ...
'cause it's funny
and 'cause you don't have to know X-Men to enjoy it (just substitute the names of your favourite ensemble cast in any media and the story will work)
