Barlowe's guide to reading ...

Have finished volume one of Jack Vance's four-volume Tschai series and am now well into volume two. And the ol' brain thing finally remembered that two of the species in these books are included in Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials. Which led to me fetching my copy over to the couch to use as a visual reference when I get to those bits in the story. And then to my considering how many of the entries in the guide I've actually encountered. Let's see ...
