About a month ago, I was pondering the mysterious connection between Smurfs and "Night of the Living Dead" (original related posts here and here)

Just wanted to tell you that the whole thing has escalated ... ROFLMAO!!!

Exploring more of "The Imagined Village" this morning ... Benjamin Zephaniah's modernized version of "Tam Lin" is absolutely glorious!!!

For those not familiar with the poem/song, most known traditional variations are listed here (the tale is the same in all, so pick any one)

Cleaning out my inbox and unearthed this: CKUA's top 100 albums for 2008 (with links to websites for indie productions). Hope you find some aural treasure here. :-)
