Yarn loot! (like there's any other kind ...)

How time flies by when you're huddled away from the dangerous weather. Seriously, we had two weeks of abnormal cold warnings. Which isn't, in itself, unusual. But usually in late December or anytime in January. In February is a bit weird. Ah well, at least things finally started warming up to safe-to-expose-your-skin-to-the-air-for-a-few-minutes temperatures this week. And to celebrate, since I booked today off work, I went to a yarn shop that I hadn't been to for a longish while. And of course didn't leave empty-handed. Left to right: Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles in "Hurricane" and "Pucker" colourways and Merino DK in "Oracle" and "Boombox" colourways. Intend to use these two pairs in two-colour brioche projects; no specific patterns chosen yet but I've seen the Hedgehog dyer's brioche designs using her wild/speckled colours and they look fantastic. Below: Manos Del Uruguay Fino in "Filigree" colourway, which I plan to use as a bright contrast with the "Inkwell" and "Garnet Brooch" colourways already in my stash. And a skein of Schachenmayr Regia City Streets sock yarn with a boring number as a colourway name, but an interesting spiral stripe patterning according to the image on the label.
