Yay!!!

Just checked tracking to see if those hooks I'm awaiting had left Montréal yet; not expecting anything more than a bit of progress westward as the posted delivery date had been Feb. 28.

And what to my wondering eyes should appear but a notification that the little darlings had been delivered to the parcel locker downstairs this morning!

So raced down to my mailbox to get the locker key (yep, had to be the ONE day out of whole week that I didn't bother with the mail because, you know, wasn't expecting anything until next week), retrieved the precious parcel, opened it and unwrapped the several layers of biodegradable purple tissue paper that are the DyakCraft trademark (instead of the usual plastic or styrofoam) and ... OH, they are stunning! A deep reddish bronze under the white light shining down right now. Can't wait to see what they look like in daylight (I suspect closer to the autumn maple leaf red that they look like in the photos ... hence their "Sugar Maple" name.

If these aren't magic enough to make crochet stick to my brain a bit, then it's impossible.
