One more day of work ...

... and then I've got three glorious weeks to myself! Work is closed all next week and then I'm taking the first two weeks of January off ... I haven't had a break this long for far too many years!!! No specific plans other than only doing what I feel like doing when I feel like doing it. I've piles of unread books, some unwatched DVDs and unheard CDs (as well as many old favourites that haven't been played in ages). I may have one or two unfinished knitting projects ... aka what should be my winter wardrobe. I may even get 'round to checking whether my sewing machine has gone feral.

Phase one is in place: I hit the butcher shop and a real grocery store last night, Ten Thousand Villages for hot chocolate restock tonight. So I've got enough supplies that I don't HAVE to go out until well after the Christmas and Boxing Day crazy is over. Not saying I won't go out, the point is doing so being by choice rather than necessity, and a decision to meander around the neighbourhood for a pleasant walk is far preferable to having to set foot in a store of any kind for any reason.
