2003 has been a year of loss (my job and involuntary separation from a loved one) and accomplishment (meeting some wonderful people in ol' T.O., getting a marvelous new job and moving to a new city, seeing aforementioned loved one join the ranks of the PhDed and also get marvelous new job).
For 2004? Little things. Finish getting this place organized and looking somewhat homelike. Complete all half-finished sewing projects (now that I have a new sewing machine, I have NO excuse) and also new ones (Kaffe Fassett patchwork bedspread, for one). Get out walking and exploring my new neighbourhood, as soon as weather decides to be civilized (I don't worry so much about weight, but I do like my muscles to be a tad tighter than they've been lately). For the rest, I just like to enjoy new accomplishments as they surprise me throughout the year ... for me that's more pleasurable than stacking them all up like targets at the beginning of the year.
Oh, BTW ... HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone, whether it began today or on solstice or whatever is your marker date of choice!
