Because I'd hate for anyone to miss it ... - The Bibliophile
Too busy reading most likely ...
Because I'd hate for anyone to miss it ...
The final episode of the BBC Radio dramatization of Terry Pratchett's "Guards! Guards!" was broadcast/made available online at the beginning of this week. You've still got 26 days left to listen to it and episodes 3-5 are also still available for listening (as of the posting of this post)

I've listened to each episode 4-5 times and loved every minute of every one of them. :-)

And now I have new eps of The Leopard in Autumn and Revolting People to listen to tonight ... yay!!!

It was a great show - I am so glad you posted about it.

In non pratchett related news, I am listening to the newer broadcast of Neverwhere when I am at the gym and I am greatly enjoying it (I am late to the game because I was so very annoyed it had such an amazing cast and it was done on the radio. They should have redone of the tv show with that cast. Omg)

Glad you enjoyed it too. Now I'm wondering how many more Pratchett radio adapatations the Beeb has stashed away (this one was originally broadcast in 1992). So far I've heard "Eric", "The Amazing Maurice ...", "Small Gods", "Nation", "Mort" and "Only you can save mankind" and I can see past listings for "Night Watch" and "Wyrd sisters", both of which I'd dearly love to hear.

Fingers crossed and I promise to post the second I see another of these go live.

Have heard many good things about the radio version of "Neverwhere" and was screaming inside when I discovered I'd managed to miss it. Must check if there are plans to release it on CD ... (already salivating over the fact that the complete Absolute Power is coming out on discs in a few months ... LOVE that show)

I would have loved to have heard Mort. I was also searching for NW on CD or audio and then I remembered my husband grabbed it when it was up for free! Woot! (I might be able to get the file for you; let me check later)

If it's possible, thank you!

I've also checked and the radio version is out on CD. I really should check for all the Pratchett adaptations as well (I love having hard copies of the good stuff)
