Ah, nostalgia!

Blame it on the previous heifer post. Dug out an ancient photo of a namesake of mine; No. 41 in the family dairy herd at the time, registered as a purebred Holstein under the name "Jeannette" (yeah, along with the special vocabulary it was also customary to name the livestock after one's kids and other relatives). As far as I can tell I most likely took this portrait sometime in winter 1976/77 (in my foolish teens it never occurred to me to do something so useful as record the dates of photos in my album).
