Just finished ...

... Paul Cornell's Witches of Lychford. A nice quick read (only 144 pages) and was very VERY good. Dark and magical, with good characters and definitely not easy to put down once you're into it. :-)

Still hard to say whether or not this is part of his "London Falling/The Severed Streets universe. It has elements that mean it certainly could fit into that series but it can just as easily be something similar but separate. Either way, the way it ends promises that there's more to come. :-)
