Mix and match ...

For example, heavy wet snow and trees still in full leaf (look about 1/3 down from the top of the first photo to see where THAT branch used to be)

Indigodragonfly goodies that came in the mail today ... three one-of-a-kind leftover skeins from their annual Stained Fingers Dye Camp. Two are deliberate dye jobs (the green and the light multi-colour on either side) while the purple multi in the middle is a result of using a skein as a rag to mop up dye spills (these are now officially named "Chaos Mop-Its"). To my surprise the two multis, despite their very different origins, are perfect complements to each other ... by pure coincidence they actually contain pretty much all the same colours, just at opposite ends of the intensity scale, and look marvelous when side-by-side. Shall definitely have to use these two together in something. :-)
